Črno jezero - Black Lake - Osankarica
Black Lake is really black! The water is crystal clear, but organic waste of plants and animals is accumulated at the bottom of the lake and creates a thick layer of dark silt that gives the lake a characteristic color. It is situated in a swampy area in the middle of the Pohorje forest and is a pleasant excursion point to which a lovely path leads from Dom na Osankarici. The lake area is protected as a natural monument.
Old town - Ruše
Ruše, a small town, developed on the higher Drava's terrace below Pohorje, on the foundations of prehistoric and later Roman settlements. The town square is a core of the settlement with the central Mary's church from 1387 and the houses from the end of the 19th century.
Martnica Pohorje
Favorite daily spot of the locals. Just right for maintaining daily fitness (one our up to the hill) and a pleasant descent into the valley.
