Falska pečina/Fala cliff

It is located 2 kilometers under the Power Plant Fala. Here the Drava River is tightly compressed and surrounded by conglomerate rocks. They are smaller on the left bank and only a few meters above the water level, while on the right bank the several ten meters high, almost vertical Fala cliff rises from the Drava River. The erosion forms are visible in the wall as a result of the deepening of the Drava River.

Ruše Latin school

The six-grade Latin school was founded in 1645 on the initiative of the local inhabitant, vicar Jurij Kozina. It was called the Ruše High school. The school was very precious for the town at that time since during the time of its operation, until 1758, Ruse became the cultural and educational center for many villages. It was attended by descendants of well-known noble families (Attems, Herberstein, Tattenbach, Thurn, etc.). 6,600 students attended the school in 113 years.
