Apartments
There are three available apartments for spending time with your family and experiencing unforgettable experiences: a smaller studio and two larger ones.
Location
The apartments are located in the centre of Ruše, on the first floor with a separate entrance. Below the apartments are a shop and a library, only 30 meters (m) away. A bakery (40 m away), a pastry shop and an egg dispensing machine (50 m), a restaurant (50 m), a dry cleaning and laundry service (40 m) and a flower shop (60 m) are in the immediate vicinity. The pharmacy and post office are 200 meters away. 400 meters away you will find a sports park with a swimming pool (25 m), a small children's pool and a wellness area.
In the sports park you will also find a pumptrack, a basketball/football field (tartan rubber), a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, inline hockey, a skate park, a large children's playground, a sandbox and a bowling alley. The sports park is a paradise for children, we promise you that you will struggle to get your kids out of it. To do this, we recommend that you bring along sports equipment such as: balls, scooters, bicycles, etc. Despite the fact that the apartments are located in the centre of Ruše, you are only 300 m away from the foothills of Pohorje.
It will take you a 20 minutes’ drive to reach the Areh Ski Resort (lower station of the Pisker chair lift). The apartments are 350 meters away from the Drava Cycling Route ( https://dravabike.si/), on which you can quickly cycle to Maribor.
Interior
Our wish is to make the guests feel at home when they arrive. Because natural materials and elements from nature play an important role in living, we furnished the apartments with as much wood as possible and added a touch of living in the local environment to it. In the apartments, the walls are covered with 100 year old sun boards from Pohorje. In the bathroom you will find walls and floors covered with tiles with the appearance of granite from Pohorje. There are decorations on the walls that resemble sports.
Hallway
We transformed the hallway into a small playroom for children. In the hallway there is a large chalk wall, a climbing wall, lego bricks, sitting bags and various toys and board games. We believe it is important, on the one hand, that children create and are active in apartments too, and on the other, that parents still have little space and time for themselves.
Terrace
The terrace is just over 40 m large and offers a unique view of Pohorje and sunsets. On the terrace is a large table with benches and chairs and three deck chairs. In pots on the terrace you will find herbs: rosemary, thyme, marjoram, mint and lavender. You can pick herbs and use them in the kitchen. The terrace is a joint terrace for all three apartments, as we want our guests to connect and share their experiences.
